Enter as a Team
The organization comprises members that organise themselves as teams to participate in the events. A team is simply a group of riders which could be your local riding group, friends, café mates, bike shop associates, and gym or office colleagues.
Each team comprises up to a maximum of 9 and a minimum of 5 riders for each event, with the overall team time (you must stick together) counting as the completed time. This is NOT racing - it is about enjoying a challenge with your team mates and 'participating' as a team not 'winning'.
Teams can be made up of any 'like' group e.g. road bikes, hand cycles, mountain bikes, all women, all seniors etc. However, the equipment has to be the same throughout the group!

Enter as an Individual
If you are not part of a team then you can still participate in our events by entering as an individual. We will place you in a team for the day with riders that match your cycling ability. You can also contact one of the existing teams directly from the team list here.
Event Entry Fees and Program
The entry fee for all Cyclo Sportif events is $45 for Cyclo Sportif members and members of other Cycling Clubs that hold a current Cycling Australia License and $30 for a junior member (under 18 yrs) and disabled members.
If you are not a Cyclo Sportif member then you can still participate in our events as a “Friend of Cyclo Sportif” for $60 per event which will include personal accident insurance for the event only.
If you are not a full member then you must join Cyclo Sportif as a Friend.
Your entry fee includes your entry, a meal and your automatic entry into the raffle (prizes in excess of $1,000 at each event).

Please note that if you hold a 2009 Cycling Australia Racing License the online event registration requires you to input your Cycling Australia license number and cycling club details. If you have not yet received your license number (which can take 4/6 weeks from Cycling Australia) then you will be required to provide a copy of your receipt of membership to your Team Captain to be presented at event registration on the day.
Cyclo Sportif requires full payment upon registration for an event. Cyclo Sportif does not refund event fees under any circumstances, including where an event is cancelled by Cyclo Sportif for any reason at its discretion.
